Turn an Ally statement PDF into a spreadsheet.
Drop in an Ally statement and get every transaction as a CSV you can open in Excel or Google Sheets. It runs in your browser, so your statement is never uploaded.

Getting your Ally statements as PDFs
- Sign in at ally.com.
- Open the account and find its statements and tax documents.
- Pick the statement period and download the PDF.
Why not just export a CSV from Ally?
Ally's transaction download only reaches as far back as its online activity, about 18 months. Anything older is only available as a PDF statement, which is what this site converts.
Good to know
- Statements stay available online for about seven years, even after an account is closed.
- Ally is online-only, so the website is the place to get statements. There is no branch to visit.
Statement to Spreadsheet is not affiliated with Ally. Banks change their menus and limits, so check the details in your own online banking.
How it works
-
Choose your statement
A PDF downloaded from your bank's website, or a scan of a paper statement.
-
Check the tally
The opening balance plus every transaction should equal the closing balance. If it does, nothing was missed or misread.
-
Download the CSV
One row per transaction: date, description, amount and balance. Money out is negative.
Questions
Is my statement uploaded anywhere?
No. This site reads the PDF on your own computer, inside this browser tab, and never sends it to a server. Once the page has loaded, statements convert even with your internet switched off. The site counts visits with Cloudflare's cookieless analytics, which records page views, never what's in your statement.
Why not just download a CSV from my bank?
Banks only export recent activity as CSV, usually somewhere between 90 days and two years. Anything older exists only as a PDF statement, which is what tax returns, loan applications and bookkeeping catch-up usually need.
Does it read scanned statements?
Yes. Scans are read with text recognition, which downloads once (about 14 MB) and takes a few seconds per page. Recognition can misread a figure, so check the tally before you rely on the numbers.
Which banks does it work with?
Statements that list transactions in a table with dates and amounts, which covers most checking and savings statements. If a statement's layout isn't read correctly, the tally won't balance and you'll see by how much.
